The interdisciplinary team’s goal is to consider the individual complexities of each patient and personalize each treatment plan for the most optimized outcomes.

Assessments

  • Licensed clinicians perform psychiatric evaluations to determine what level of care is most appropriate for each patient.

Outpatient Services

  • Partial-Hospitalization Programming (PHP)
  • Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP)

Inpatient

  • Involuntary patients under the Baker Act (NBH – North)
  • Voluntary individuals that recognize a need to be in a safe inpatient setting (NBH-South)

An advocate for patients that helps identify needs and assist with finding meaningful resources to aid in each patient’s treatment plan and after care recovery.

Expressive Therapy

Uses forms of creative expression such as art, music, and dance to help patients explore and transform difficult circumstances and conditions. Expressive therapy has been shown to nurture deep personal growth and transformation.

Medical and Psychiatric Eval

performed by a licensed physician, the assessment can assist with understanding a patient’s strengths, needs, and what the optimum level of care is for each patient. This evaluation will also contribute to the development of a plan for treatment.

Nutritional Education

Has been proven to improve one’s self image by improving feelings of wellbeing and nutritional knowledge.

Recreational Therapy

Utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions to help improve psychological, physical health, and overall well-being.

Daily structured programming

Group Therapy

A special form of therapy that involves a small number of people meeting together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another.

Memory Boards

Primarily used for orienting patients. These support each patient’s care journey by conveying to a patient the plan of care on a day-to-day basis.

Occupational Therapy

A form of therapy that encourages healing through the performance of activities required in daily life.

Yoga & Exercise Group Therapy

The application of Yogic principles as a means to achieving spiritual, psychological, or physiological goals.
